This unit is found in southwestern Utah and is centered around the small town of Enterprise. Great deer habitat is found here along with good deer populations. This hunt can be as physical or easy as anyone would desire and has plenty of opportunity for everyone.

While the unit is small there are plenty of deer found here and hunters will find little trouble in filling their tag with some effort.

From the relatively flat valley bottom that Enterprise sits, the hills rise sharply in all directions leading into mountainous country. The many prominent ridges are broken into subcommunities of finger ridges providing excellent cover for deer. Hunters will find plenty of glassing opportunities from every vantage point. Cross-country travel in some of these areas can be tough and physical conditioning can certainly make an impact on the outcome of the hunt.

Like most of southern utah this area is comprised largely of pinyon juniper, sage, and oak brush. Vegetation can be very heavy on north facing slopes and almost impossible to traverse through at times. In some drainages will be small pockets of aspen and fir.

This unit is full of public land access and hunters will find little issue in finding huntable ground. ATV trails cover the landscape and having an ATV of your own can be very helpful. Most of these trails lead into the high country and to great glassing locations though some efforted may be needed from those locations once a deer is located.

There is one small motel in Enterprise and additional options can be found in Cedar City or St George, both are about 45 minutes from the hunting area. Primitive camping is permitted on public lands for up to 14 days. Some groceries and sporting goods can be found in Enterprise though most needs will need to be met outside of the hunting area.
