This small unit is found in east-central Utah along the north side of the town of Green River. This area is primarily comprised of private lands but there are decent chunks of state of BLM and state-owned lands are available to hunt.
Primarily private, hunters can find a few good areas to hunt with land ownership maps.
Generally speaking, the terrain found in this unit is fairly flat with some breaks in the country found along the Green River. The rougher country can provide a decent opportunity for stalking with short range weapons
Other than agricultural crops this area features very little vegetation. The ground is primarily rock with patches of grass and sage. In a few periodic coulees hunters can find patches of pinyon juniper which can hold deer during hot midday temps.
Overall this area is mostly made up of private lands though some decent chunks of public land can be found here. Some of the public land is leased for agricultural purposes and a quick phone call to either the state or BLM offices would be wise. ATVs can make driving on some of the unmaintained farm roads easier but are not necessary.
There are a handful of modern lodging options for hunters in Green River and primitive camping is permitted on public lands for up to 14 consecutive days. Some minor grocery needs can be found in Green River but hunters will likely need to fill major grocery and sporting goods needs before leaving for the hunt.
