Great antelope numbers can be encountered here along with high quantities of public land. This area is generally small by comparison but hunters who stick with it can find success.
Good amounts of public land and good numbers of antelope are rpesent here. Anyone with a tag will be in for a great hunt.
The majority of the antelope terrain will be low elevations flats with sagebrush-covered rolling hills. This part of Utah has mesas and plateaus with some rolling hills. There are some isolated drinkers and stock ponds on the unit that the antelope will use for a water source. Hunters will be able to glass and cover large tracts of country. There is good road access to this area that hunters can travel by either ATV or truck.
The middle elevations contain pinyon/juniper, manzanita, grass meadows, and sagebrush. The lower elevations have pinyon/juniper, sagebrush, oak brush, grasses, and other browse.
There is great access to the lower elevation parts of this unit where the antelope can be found. Dirt roads and a high number of two-track ATV trails can be used to navigate the unit. There are good antelope numbers throughout this unit and hunters will want to use the roads to cover the unit.
Price has lodging, gas, groceries and other supplies. Camping is permitted on most public land.
