This small unit is located south and east of Duchesne, Hunters in this area have enjoyed a very high success rate on this unit with very few days in the field but must first secure private acces.
Large sections of tribal land will be encoutnered throughout the unit and hunters will want to pay special attention to these boundaries.
The majority of antelope terrain will be lower elevations flats with sagebrush. This part of Utah has many mesas and plateaus with some small canyons and washes that break up the landscape. There are some isolated drinkers and stock ponds that the antelope will use for a water source. There is good road access to this area, hunters can travel the unit in either ATVs or vehicles.
Middle elevations have pinyon/juniper patches, manzanita, grass meadows and sagebrush, with lower elevations staying consistent to the mid and upper levels.
Roads cover the unit and provide access for hunters in vehicles or ATV's. Large tracts of public land make locating and accessing huntable areas fairly straightforward. Huge chunks of tribal lands are found within the unit and hunters will want to pay close attention to the boundaries of these.
Duchesne has lodging, gas, groceries and other supplies.
