Just a reminder that Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently launched a new user account system. What this means is that anyone who wants to purchase or apply for a license is required to create a username and password. According to WGFD, this will add an increased level of security for customers and at the same time, streamline purchases.

Note: Do NOT wait until the last minute to handle this user account change. Take a few minutes and change your account over so you can have a seamless time applying for tags. There's nothing worse than frantically trying to apply for licenses on the last few days of the application period and forgetting that you have to upgrade your user account. And even worse, maybe something gets messed up and you need to call Wyoming to have them handle it and go through a painful wait period on the phone when time is running out to apply.

Also, if you have applied in Wyoming in the past, all of your information will be attached to your new username and password automatically.
