On The Ground
This unit can be found in Southeast Wyoming and is west of the Nebraska state line from Lusk to Cheyenne. It has over 40,000 acres of State Walk-in Access Areas and some parts of BLM land, with some public land in the area harder to access. Mule deer and whitetail are commonly found here.Unit 15 is the only unit in Region T
Mature bucks can be found here but access can be an issue since a lot of the hunting areas are on or near irrigated or tilled crops. Whitetails are usually found in the Laramie and North Platte drainages.
Terrain
North Platte and Laramie Rivers run through the unit. Grasslands are broken up by thousands of acres of tilled farmland, with some bluffs around Glendo and Grayrocks Reservoir. Buttes and hills can typically be seen from the skyline.

Vegetation
The grassland here has buffalo, blue grama grass, sagebrush flats, juniper ridges and cottonwoods and willows are near the creek bottoms. There are also irrigated crops near the North Platte River.
Access
Hunters can have a hard time getting access to public land in this area. Private farms block some of the access to the North Platte River and public land. There are a lot of county and secondary roads to travel across the county. Four-wheel-drive is recommended for rain and snow.
Camping and Lodging
Glendo State Park and Grayrocks Reservoir has a lot of campsites and an RV pull through. Torrington in the north, and Cheyenne in the south, have a lot of motels, RV campgrounds, restaurants, medical facilities and gas stations.
