On The Ground
This unit is located on western side of Wyoming, east of the Wind River Mountain Range between Riverton and Dubois. Virtually all of the land is part of the Wind River Indian Reservation. Hunting is not allowed on the reservation unless one is an enrolled member of the Shoshone or Northern Arapaho Tribe.
Unless you are hunting on deeded land, all of which is located where bears don’t live, you should look past this unit.
Terrain
There are 3 types of terrain futures in this unit. There is a small portion of the Wind River Mountain Range on the western side of this unit, and some residential and farmland north of Riverton and along to road to Lander. The rest of this unit is sagebrush prairies and badlands. But, since this unit is not huntable unless you are a member of the Shoshone or Northern Arapaho Tribe, move on to a different unit in this state.

Elevations range from 5,500-10,500 feet
Vegetation
Aside from the small portion of the Wind River Mountain Range on the western portion of this unit and the farmland north of Riverton, this unit is virtually all prairies and badlands.
Access
Virtually all of the land in this unit is part of the Wind River Indian Reservation. So, unless you are hunting on deeded land, all of which is located where bears don’t live, this unit is one you need to look past.

Camping and Lodging
Camping is obviously limited as all of the land in this unit is virtually part of the Wind River Indian Reservation.
