On The Ground
Area 2 known as Bearlodge, is located near Hulett in the Northeast corner of Wyoming. This unit not only provides great hunting, but the opportunity to see America’s First National Monument, Devils Tower. Good numbers of antelope can be found here but the lack of public lands in antelope habitat can be discouring for public land hunters.
Many of the antelope on this unit are located on private property. Hunters will want to identify public land or gain access to private prior to applying for this area.
Terrain
This area has grassy prairies and pine-covered rim-rock bluffs. The open can usually consist of rises, dry creeks, shallow valleys and low hills that support antelope. The central portion of the unit is very mountainious and timbered but will generally not hold any notable populations of antelope.

Vegetation
Surrounded by Black Hills National Forest, Sundance and the Bear Lodge Mountains. It is typical to be around sagebrush and open land in the lower elevation of prairie. As the elevation climbs expect thick pine trees, rocky bluffs and canyons.
Access
GPS and map research is suggested for this area. There is limited public access in this unit. Getting permission to hunt private land after receiving a license can be hard.
Camping and Lodging
Hunters can find a lot of accommodations located throughout this unit. There is opportunity to purchase additional supplies needed after arrival. Camping opportunities are available.
