On The Ground
Area 114 is located in the central part of the state and to the southeast of Worland. Made up of high plains desert, this unit contains a mix of private lands, primarily on the northern edge of the unit, with expansive amounts of BLM and State lands in the middle of the unit. Good populations of elk can be found here along with great odds of filling a tag.
This area has good general access available and a high success rate for harvest. This is an excellent trophy area.
Terrain
This hunt area is rough and offers great cover for spot and stalk hunting. The area consists of a variety of grassy or desert-like, open prairie with large basins cut by deep creek bottoms. Private ranch and farm lands that can attract antelope from the surrounding prairie can be found along the rivers but many antelope be will be found throughout the public lands in this unit.

Vegetation
This area is made up of high desert prairie covered in sagebrush and grasslands. Vegetation is sparse throughout the unit. Private croplands along the river bottoms can hold antelope.
Access
Public access in this unit is good, with county roads and BLM roads located throughout the unit. This area has several well-maintained roads and smaller two-track roads. Gas and oil drilling activity provides access roads in places, but roads can be rough.
Camping and Lodging
Worland is the closest town to the unit and offers many options for lodging, groceries, gas and other amenities. Camping is allowed on all public ground for up to 16 days in one location. Hunters can also camp in remote locations throughout the unit.
