Rugged unit located north of Green River Utah, this unit has good numbers of sheep and offers lucky tag holders the opportunity to harvest a great ram.
High desert plateau terrain with remote, rugged cliffs and canyons. Juniper covered mesas occur along the ridge tops. The Green River cuts along the eastern border of the unit.
Low elevations have a variety of grasses and shrubs with juniper continuing up through middle elevations. Juniper covered mesas occur along the ridge tops. Some cottonwoods and willows occur along the river and streams.
Access in this unit is limited. Highway 6 borders the unit on the west and has a few roads that branch from it into the unit. Hastings Road, Horse Canyon Road, and Price River Road all provide access but may require ATV due to the road conditions.
Some hunters camp along roads dirt roads or along the river, there are several spots that have good, flat camping locations for travel trailers or tents. There are a handful or hotels and resturants in Green River if hunters prefer to stay there.
