This small unit is found in central Utah in the Sanpete Valley. This unit is largely centered around controlling deer populations near private residential areas and agricultural fields. Public land is in very short supply here and hunters should secure private access before planning a hunt in this area.
A decent population of deer can be found here but the extreme lack of public lands will generally send most hunters into other units.
This area is almost entirely rurally developed lands and agricultural areas with very little terrain change.
Very little is left in the way of native vegetation with the exception of native grasses and sage. Pockets of pinyon-juniper and cedar can be found scattered throughout a few areas.
This unit is almost entirely private. Hunters will need to secure private access before beginning the hunt.
Several options for modern lodging and groceries can be found in Manti, Ephraim, Mount Pleasant, and Fairview. Sporting goods can be found in some select locations but most needs will need to be met prior to leaving for the hunt.
