On The Ground
Located east of Green River and south of I-70 in the red rock country that the state is famous for, this unit gives hunters a chance to pursue mature pronghorn bucks in breathtaking country.
Good pronghorn population offering hunters a chance to hunt in unique habitat. Hunters willing to scout and hunt throughout the season will have a chance to find antelope. A good pair of binos is essential for this unit.
Terrain
Located in the eastern half of the state this unit is relatively flat. The landscape is carved with steep rocky canyons that twist and wind through the ridges and mountains. The tops of the mountains are flat then slough off to the valley floor. Do not let the lack of elevations fool you, this terrain can be difficult to travel through.

Vegetation
The lower elevations on this unit are dry, desert rolling hills and flats. Some different grasses, prickly-pear cactus, yucca and sage brush with scattered pinyon pines and juniper trees.
Access
With the majority of the unit land being controlled by the BLM, there is great public access. However, with a lack of maintained roads, some areas can be difficult to get into. There are a few maintained gravel roads that lead to four-wheel-drive or ATV roads. Not many trails, foot travel will be cross country and difficult in some areas. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks inside the unit boundary prohibit hunting.

Camping and Lodging
Some hunters camp along roads, there are several locations that have good, flat camping locations for travel trailers or tents. There are a couple of designated campgrounds open to the public. Green River and Moab are the closest towns that offer lodging and services.
