On The Ground
Located in the central part of the state and to the west of Lewistown. The district is comprised of a mix of private and state lands. The district is long grass plains and there are no mountainous areas.
This district produces average mule deer, whitetail and the occasional bull elk. Whitetail deer are abundant, but lack in trophy size.
Terrain
This district begins in the grassy plains and farm fields along the Judith River on the east and spans westward through the plains to the town of Geyser and Arrow Creek. About half of the district is comprised of grassy plains, with the remainder being private willow and cottonwood creek bottoms and agriculture fields.

Vegetation
These lowlands are comprised of long grass prairie, agriculture fields and cottonwood and willow creek bottoms.
Access
Public access in this district is fair with reasonable access to state lands. Access to some public is somewhat limited by private land.
Camping and Lodging
There are lots of choices for any style of hunter in this district. The towns of Moore and nearby Lewistown offer several options for lodging, groceries, gas and other amenities. Camping is allowed on all public ground for up to 14 days in one location and those that choose to camp, may do so in the nearby forest to the southwest.
