Antelope can be difficult to locate in this district. The antelope will be found mostly on private land and access can be difficult and will require spending some time to acquire permission.
Antelope populations are down from historic levels but the quality is decent. Antelope are scattered all along the valley. There are additional doe, fawn antelope tags that can be applied for.
This district is highly varied from flat open grasslands to extensive dry land farm fields. It also has a lot of broken country and mountain foothills. A majority of the area is easy terrain for stalking antelope but very open country.
Much of the district that antelope reside on is open flat grass benches or extensive dry land farm fields. Closer to the mountains there are some junipers and cedars throughout the broken country. There are irrigated agriculture crops along the river valley. The center pivots with alfalfa attract a lot of antelope.
This district is accessed by interstate 90 and Highway 287. There are numerous county roads in the district.
