This hunt district has an estimated herd population of 213 antelope. Beaverhead National Forest, BLM, Montana State Trust Lands and Block Management Areas offer thousands of acres of public lands.
Public lands offer plenty of acres to roam and glass for an antelope buck. Beaverhead County has three bucks listed in the record book so take enough time to glass a number of bucks before making the decision to hunt just one. Rain and snow can make roads slick and muddy so four-wheel drive vehicle are recommended in any season.
