On The Ground
Nearly 100% private farmland that creates plenty of room for herds of mule deer and antelope. Whitetails numbers are significantly less than mule deer. Permission to hunt antelope is granted quicker than those wanting to hunt mule deer.

Vegetation
Extensive short grass prairie, sagebrush, yucca, cottonwoods along creek bottoms, Russian olives near ranch homes, large sections of dry-land farming and tall grasses on Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) lands.
Access
Flagler Reservoir, 400 acres, is limited to youth/mentor hunting only. The area is 5 miles east of Flagler on County Road U. Deer, waterfowl and pheasant are hunted on the property.
Camping and Lodging
Flagler Reservoir provides camping in designated areas. Limon located in the southwest corner and Flagler along Interstate 70 offers a variety of motels, restaurants, gas, diesel and medical facilities. Along the northern boundary on US 36 Anton Coop has gas and diesel fuel Monday-Saturday.
