This unit runs from about 13 miles south of Seligman to the south end of the Santa Maria Mountains about 25 miles away. It has some big buck antelope, a few nomadic elk and some mule deer. Deeded land restricts access, but the state has negotiated public access on some private ranches allow public hunting.
This unit has a reputation for producing some big pronghorn antelope. Mule deer and elk also are hunted here. Antelope tags are few in number and hard to draw. Elk tag holders can hunt several units, but bulls are scarce. Mule deer are not typically large.
