Unit 115 is made up mainly of Wilderness properties that have large numbers of deer and trophy-class bucks.The majority of travel into the unit will be by horse or foot.For nonresidents, this area is part of Region F and tags drawn for this area are also valid in: 105, 106, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114.
Get into the backcountry to look over lots of land and large bucks without many other hunters around. Gaining elevation and sitting behind your optics will increase chances of finding a large buck. This area also has a high concentration of grizzly bears so hunters should be bear aware.

- Use of a GPS with a landowner programming is recommended in this area
- All nonresident hunters must have a guide hunt in the designated wilderness
- Fishing licenses can also be obtained to fish the many lakes and creeks in the unit
- Be aware of the National Forest regulations for grizzly bear food storage and safety
