This unit is located on the western side of the state, north of La Barge, on the eastern side of the Wyoming rang and the famous Greys River. The area consists of oilfield prairies in the lower elevations, giving way to picturesque mountain ranges.
This unit is has one of the highest numbers of total black bears harvested each year.
