This unit is located in the northwest corner of the state and just outside of the town of Meeker. Hunters will find good opportunities here with ample amounts of public land and good game densities. A good road system will be found here but this unit also offers a few roadless areas including the Cross Mountain, Black Mountain and Windy Gulch Wilderness study areas.
Good game densities can be found here along with a healthy trophy potential for each. Hunting on public land can be good but hunters will need to cover ground and be on their optics throughout the day.
