A Quick Look at the Ridgeview Carbon

Vortex's Ridgeview Carbon is a do-it-all tripod. You can glass sitting down and you also have the ability to stand and glass if needed. This is a great feature to have on certain hunts. Plus at only 3 lbs. 2 oz. this tripod/head kit won't weigh you down!

Head

This Vortex tripod also comes with a two-way adjustable pan head which means that the handle controls both the vertical and horizontal movements. You can adjust the tension when glassing by simply loosening the handle to pan around, and then lock it down tight when you need to really focus on something. It is also worth mentioning that one plate is included with the tripod and if you want to use something different, the tripod head is also Arca Swiss compatible.

Three Angle Pivot Lock Leg

At the top of the legs, you'll notice a lever that allows you to move the tripod legs outward for even more versatile glassing situations.

Twist Lock Legs

Plus, a great feature is the twist-lock leg design with a total of 3 leg sections. The legs can easily be adjusted quickly by just a 1/4 turn.
