Burning 17 limited entry elk points with a baby on the way and hunting bull elk in the backyard of where he grew up might sound like the recipe for a major headache, but for Brandon Evans, our Head of Research, this situation is exactly what he wanted. With the circumstances, he had to hunt the pre-rut with the baby due on September 26. What unfolded on this hunt is something he'll remember for a long time.
