It’s always exciting when companies release new products. And today, April 28, Vortex Optics just released three new rangefinders to their lineup, and they are available to purchase right now in the GOHUNT Gear Shop.
The New Rangefinders Are:
- Viper HD 3000- Diamondback HD 2000- Crossfire HD 1400
These rangefinders are packed with great features and fit a great price point! I’ve been testing them for almost three weeks now while shooting my rifle, and I can say they hit their marks in terms of specs and ranging capabilities! This new line aligns with their Viper, Diamondback, and Crossfire binocular line. All these new rangefinders have the Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) for angle compensation and Line Of Sight (LOS) mode, plus Scan mode. Perfect for rifle and bowhunters whether you chase whitetails or hunt big game in the West. All of these rangefinders also come with a soft carrying case.

Can you please recommend a good rangefinder that is user-friendly with angle compensation? I have a 15-year-old pair of Leica Geovid R binos I love but I need to get something I can carry with me for those steep angles. I missed a Bear 2 years ago because I didn't compensate correctly I have been looking at vortex and Leupold and I watched your reviews on these above. I am Rifle Hunter that shoots a 28 Nosler and I practice year-round on steel to 1,200 yards but on Game I try to stay under 700. I have a Ballistic app on my phone that has served me well over the years until a spring bear two years ago. Thank You so much in advance

Just picked up the Viper as a replacement for a Kahles rangefinder that has been nothing short of a disappointment, hoping it performs better! If not...

Been great here so far, used it for archery and rifle, have had success ranging well beyond 2k without much effort. Cousin in law just picked up the diamondback as well and even it is impressive. Vortex really seems to have hit things out of the park on this new lineup, time will tell!
