This small unit is found in east-central Utah along the town of Price. This area is primarily comprised of private lands though decent chunks of BLM and state-owned lands are available to hunt.
Primarily private, hunters can find a few good areas to hunt with land ownership maps.
While mostly flat this area does feature a fair amount of break in the terrain allowing hunters so good spot and stalk opportunities. Very little elevation change will be found making traversing this country fairly easy for all hunters.
Other than agricultural crops this area features very little vegetation. The ground is primarily rock with patches of grass and sage. In a few periodic coulees and basins hunters can find patches of pinyon juniper which can hold deer during hot midday temps.
Overall this area is mostly made up of private lands though some decent chunks of public land can be found. Some of the public land is leased for agricultural purposes and a quick phone call to either the state or BLM offices would be wise. ATVs can make driving on some of the unmaintained farm roads easier but is not necessary.
There are several options for modern lodging found in Price and primitive camping is permitted on public lands for up to 14 days. Groceries, amenities, and sporting goods can all be found in Price as well.
